Why do teams look for Yooz alternatives?
Usually because of how Yooz is priced, sold or scoped, as set out on Yooz’s own pages.
- Yooz publishes no US price; its Gold Edition is priced by the volume of documents processed. [source: Yooz pricing (US)]
- Its pricing page does not say which edition includes PO matching or payments. [source: Yooz pricing (US)]

Which alternative fits which team?
There is no single best choice; each tool is built for a different job.
- Stampli: For mid-sized AP teams that want invoice-level collaboration and can buy through a quote.
- Medius: For larger finance teams that want an AP suite with supplier tools.
- BILL: For approvals and bill pay at published per-user prices.
- Ramp: For cards, expenses and bill pay in one platform, with a free plan.
- Aequo AP: For teams that want capture, 3-way matching and an exception queue at a published flat price.
When is Yooz the better choice?
Stay with Yooz, or choose it, if one of these describes you.
- You want to try it on real work first: Yooz offers a 15-day free trial, and its Gold Edition has unlimited users. [source: Yooz pricing (US)]
- Invoices often span several purchase orders or partial receipts: Yooz describes line-level PO matching across multiple POs and partial receipts, with tolerances. [source: Yooz, PO matching]
- Your ERP is one Aequo AP does not connect to yet: Yooz claims 250+ integrations, naming Acumatica, Microsoft Dynamics, NetSuite, Sage and Sage Intacct. [source: Yooz, ERP integrations]
Known limitations of each tool
Every tool here has gaps, Aequo AP included. Each limitation below comes from the vendor’s own pages, or from what those pages leave out.
- Yooz: No US price is published, and which edition includes PO matching and payments is not stated [source: Yooz pricing (US)]
- Stampli: No published prices or trial; buying runs through a quote request, and Xero is not on its ERP list [source: Stampli pricing]
- Medius: Quote only with no trial; AP Essentials covers one entity, and Copilot and the supplier portal are only in AP 360 [source: Medius pricing]
- BILL: Priced per user: on Essentials and Team every approver is billed as a full user, and 3-way matching is only on the custom-priced Enterprise plan [source: BILL pricing]
- Ramp: The Plus platform fee is not published, and Ramp-issued POs with 3-way match need the Procurement add-on [source: Ramp pricing]
- Aequo AP: Does not pay vendors yet (coming soon); Oracle NetSuite and Sage Intacct are early access only; no PO approvals or procurement; prices are in US dollars
What it costs: a worked example for 500 invoices a month and 5 people who approve them
Per-user pricing grows with every approver, per-transaction fees grow with volume, and flat plans grow by tier. Price your own numbers before you switch.
| Tool | Monthly cost at this volume |
|---|---|
| Yooz | Not published (priced by document volume) [source: Yooz pricing (US)] |
| Stampli | Quote only [source: Stampli pricing] |
| Medius | Quote only [source: Medius pricing] |
| BILL | $325 a month on Team ($65 × 5 users), or $445 on Corporate for purchase orders ($89 × 5), plus payment fees such as $0.59 per ACH payment [source: BILL pricing] |
| Ramp | $0 on Free; $75 a month on Plus ($15 × 5 users) plus a platform fee that is not published [source: Ramp pricing] |
| Aequo AP | $699 a month on Growth (up to 1000 documents, 3-way matching), the same for 5 approvers or 50 |
When is Aequo AP not the right fit?
Aequo AP is AP automation for SMB and mid-market teams: capture, PO matching, approvals and exceptions. It is the wrong choice in these cases.
- You want one tool that also pays vendors today. Aequo AP vendor payments are coming soon; until then you pay approved bills from your accounting system or bank.
- You need a generally available connector for an ERP other than QuickBooks Online, Xero, FreshBooks, Zoho Books and Business Central. Oracle NetSuite and Sage Intacct are in early access for selected teams, and Acumatica, SAP Business One and QuickBooks Desktop are in development.
- You enter a handful of bills a month and one person approves them. Your accounting system's own bill features are probably enough; Aequo AP's Starter plan covers up to 250 documents a month.
How we chose and compared these tools
We compared 6 tools for teams replacing or comparing Yooz using each vendor’s own public pages, read on 2026-10-30. Aequo AP publishes this page and includes its own product, so every limitation and price is shown the same way for every tool.
- Which tools. The tools that search results and AI assistants name most often for this question, plus the accounting system’s own features where they cover the job. Each has a public product page.
- What we compared. Why teams look for Yooz alternatives, from Yooz’s own pricing and product pages. Pricing model, free trial, purchase-order matching, accounting system coverage and target company size for each alternative. One documented limitation per tool, and the monthly cost at 500 invoices and 5 approvers.
- Where facts come from. Each competitor fact links to the vendor’s own page ([source]). If a page did not say something, we write “not published” or “not mentioned” rather than guess. Prices are list prices.
- Disclosure. Aequo AP is our product. Its row comes from our pricing page and product, it is not ranked first, and its limitations are listed with everyone else’s. No vendor paid to be included or reviewed this page.
